Sustainable Development
The industrial minerals sector recognises sustainable development as a vital objective for society and readily acknowledges its responsibility for helping to achieve this critical aim. To take the sector forward in a sustainable way, the members of IMA-Europe have agreed to work actively towards continuous improvement in economic, environmental and social performance.
As part of this commitment the industry has a voluntary Sustainable Development Charter and participates in DG Enterprise's voluntary Sustainable Development Indicators (SDI) Reporting exercise. Click on the links below to find out more:
