IMA Europe - Industrial Minerals Association

IMA-Europe was founded in 1993 to represent the European industrial minerals sector at EU level. Up until that time, only two European associations existed: one for talc (EUROTALC) and one for industrial silica (EUROSIL).

Once IMA-Europe was created, its membership grew quickly and is now made up of 90% of European industrial minerals producers. Today, IMA-Europe is recognised as the spokesperson of the European industrial minerals sector and is consulted as such by the European institutions and national authorities.
