MINERALI
Gruppo Minerali represents 10 companies and
15 production units, almost a century of mining culture, 250 employees and
1.9 million tons of raw materials. The Group has a faithful vocation for extracting,
processing, and trading the raw materials destined to ceramics and glass manufacturers.
Of the 15 production units, 13 are distributed in the national territory,
one in India, and one in Brasil. About 70 billion lire of turnover and 18
billion lire (about 9 million Euro) of investment were made during the last
four years. At the beginning of the process, strong choices are made: big
ore deposits easily reachable, long-period concessions, and an industrial
treatment able to ennoble raw materials not immediately usable. This culture
puts man at the center of the process, who is entrusted to have a key role
and a place in the foreground. A global attitude focused on environmental
protection implies a long work on environmental restoration and requalification.
Gruppo Minerali's future is shaped through studies and analyses in order to
consolidate and develop the most promising trends. This, together with the
constant parameters and objectives characterizing certification ISO 9002,
guarantees to the Group quantity and quality at all times.
